Hot 2017 Wedding Trend - Greenery

The Pantone colour of 2017 has been announced and it's all about bright, brilliant, freshness!

According to Pantone, greenery is "a fresh and zesty yellow-green shade that evokes the first days of spring when nature's greens revive, restore and renew. Illustrative of flourishing foliage and lushness of the great outdoors".

We think this bold green is perfect for a beautiful nature-inspired wedding filled with lots of leafy greens!

In celebration of Pantone's colour of the year, here are a few of our suggestions on how to incorporate greenery into your wedding:-

Stick to natural colours in your stationery, using a neutral shade for your background, with green and white details.

Deck the aisles with boughs and garlands. It’s where the bride and her wedding party make their grand entrance and the happy couple take the first momentous steps of their journey together – and yet despite being the focal point of every wedding, the aisle can easily be overlooked when it comes to decoration and dressing. Of course, you don’t want the surroundings to upstage the bride, but a few strategically placed garlands of foliage draped between the seats could take your ceremony from so-so to sensational.

Inspired by English country gardens, add our beautiful camellia flowered trees behind the top table to create a soft and romantic feel for a relaxed yet stunning wedding.

For the purists, a pristine white tablecloth highlights all that is beautiful about green foliage and white flowers.

Our wooden seating chart and ceremony sign adorned with foliage to create an organic and rustic feel to your wedding.

Foliage not only adds a lush factor to your wedding, but it’s a cost efficient way to beef up the botanicals and spread out your flower budget.

As for place settings, what suits this colour scheme more perfectly than a simple hand-written leaf.
